Committees of the Board
Admissions Committee
The Admissions Committee will participate in development and implementation of volunteer opportunities and programs to support the recruitment of students to Ramapo College. Members of this committee will work closely with Enrollment Management and Admissions Administrators.
Advocacy Committee
The Advocacy Committee will work closely with the Institutional Advancement Development Officer to communicate the College's successes. This committee will also develop a legislative advocacy program in close coordination with the President's office and will continue to support the efforts of New Jersey College Promise.
Alumni Connections Committee
The Alumni Connections Committee will attend and support alumni regional, corporate, networking and fundraising events including the Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame. Committee members will assist in building event attendance and support by reaching out to other alumni. This Committee will also assist in development of regional and corporate Association chapters.
Career Services Committee
The Career Services Committee will participate in development and implementation of volunteer opportunities and programs to provide Ramapo students with opportunities for career exploration, internships and cooperative education experiences, career networking, and mentoring. This committee will work closely with Administrators from the Cahill Center.
Resource Development Committee
The Resource Development Committee will work closely with Institutional Advancement to identify and implement activities that achieve the financial goals of the Alumni Association, Foundation and College. This committee will increase the Alumni Scholarship Endowment and Alumni Service Scholarship Endowment Funds. The Committee will encourage all Directors to make an Annual Fund leadership gift and will encourage other Association members to donate; committee members may make calls for the phonathon, sign letters for the direct mail campaign, identify potential alumni benefactors and funders, and assist with cultivation. The Resource Development Committee will have a significant role in providing and attracting major gifts for the Foundation's capital campaigns.
