Undergraduate Admissions: Admitted Students
Welcome!
Admitted Students Checklist
1. Return your "Acceptance Card" to the Office of Admissions
Complete and return your Acceptance Card with your $300 deposit ($100 towards admission and $200 toward housing) by May 1, 2010. If you choose not to live on campus just submit $100. The receipt of your “Acceptance Card” and deposit reserves your space in our incoming class of 2014.
A. Freshmen. Residential Students.
Interest in campus housing has been unprecedented. Almost 90% of new freshmen choose to live on campus. Housing is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, it is advantageous to apply early. Once housing is assigned to a student, it is guaranteed for eight semesters as long as the student maintains full-time status, pays all bills by stated deadlines and remains in good academic and social standing.
To reserve a place in the fall class and request on-campus housing, return the Acceptance Card to the Admissions Office as soon as possible but no later than May 1, 2010 with a $300 deposit. The deposit is credited towards charges for the Fall semester. If housing is desired, it must be requested at the same time an acceptance card is returned. Please return the Parent/Guardian Information Sheet (see below) along with your deposit.
While your admissions deposit portion ($100) is non-refundable, the housing deposit portion ($200) is refundable if a written withdrawal request is received by the Office of Residence Life by May 1, 2010. After that date the housing deposit is not refundable.
B. Transfers/Readmits. Residential Student.
Interest in campus housing has been unprecedented. Almost 90% of new freshmen and 33% of transfer choose to live on campus. Housing is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited for transfers and readmits. Therefore it is advantageous to apply early.
To reserve a place in the fall class and request on-campus housing, return the Acceptance Card and Housing Application to the Admissions Office as soon as possible but no later than May 1, 2010 with a $300 deposit. The deposit is credited towards charges for the Fall semester. If housing is desired, it must be requested at the same time an acceptance card is returned. Please return the Parent/Guardian Information Sheet (see below) along with your deposit.
When our residence halls fill up, a waiting list will be started. If you return your deposit and you are not chosen from our housing wait list, the housing portion of your deposit ($200) may be returned. We do not guarantee housing for transfer students.
