The Capstone Graduation Project is a requirement for all graduates. It allows an opportunity for graduates to synthesize a range of diverse learning experiences: Core Courses, team taught and required; Elective Courses and Concentration Options; Artistic or Written Capstone Projects.

The Capstone Graduation Project provides students with a sense of organized and creative expression. For a substantial period of time, the student works with a mentor and second reader or critic in an individualized and professional relationship. This experience enhances maturity of scholarship and creative expression; it encourages the student to be productive in new and innovative endeavors. The Ramapo Library and the Graduate Office will archive permanently bound volumes of the written project and appropriate visual or audio records of performance.
